Course FAQ
Q: How much time is required to go through the course?
A: Each of the 4 modules has 4 lessons (total of 16 lessons), with about an hour of content—though the videos are broken up into smaller chunks (avg. length 4 mins) so that you can watch bits at a time. Along with the lesson videos, there are example videos to further clarify the points, and exercises for you to do. I would estimate you’ll spend about an hour on each lesson (so, ~16 hours), plus additional time to watch the interviews and other bonuses—maybe around 20 hour total investment of your time to get you making more engaging videos!
Q: How is the course delivered?
A: This course is entirely online, so once your payment is confirmed, you’ll be sent instructions to register for the private membership site. Once your login is set up, you’ll be taken to the member dashboard, where you can access all the videos, exercises, bonuses and other content. Everything is available for you to watch whenever you have an internet connection. There are some pieces you can currently download, and I’ll work to make more items available offline as we go.
If you have access to the private Facebook community, there will be a link to the group where you can ask questions, share your videos for feedback, and offer ideas to others. I’ll be there, too, along with the other students—interact as much as you like.
Q: What if I’m starting from step one? Never shot a video. Never been on camera. Will this help me?
A: Yes! The course is designed to take a complete newbie and show you the exact steps to create powerful videos in one take. You can also take advantage of the Unlimited coaching and Strategy call (available with Community or Premium membership) with me to fill in any specific questions you might have. The first entire module is how to establish a great relationship with the camera.
Q: Now is not a good time for me. Will you offer it again?
Yes, enrollment will most likely open again in the future, but the content, offerings, and price may change.
Q: Do you have a payment plan?
A: Sure, I can work that out if you contact me before February 12th. Just email me here.
Q: Can I upgrade later to a different plan?
A: Absolutely. You’ll pay the difference between the two levels at the time you bought it, and once that’s settled, you’ll have access to the new content. For example, if you paid $197 for the Self-Study option, and want to upgrade to the Premium option, you’ll pay the difference of $400. If there was a promotion or discount running when you purchased, that will be honored when calculating the difference.
Q: How long will I have access to this course?
A: You get lifetime access to the course. If you can’t start right away, if you have to travel in the middle, or if you want to refer back to it months or years down the line—all the files and videos are stored in your member dashboard for easy access whenever you want. You’ll also get every upgrade I ever add to the course in the future.
Q: Is there a money-back guarantee?
A: YES. If you don’t see significant improvement in your videos within the first 30 days, ask for a refund. Simply email me through the membership site any time within 30 days of purchase, show you did the work, and I’ll send you a full refund. Showing your work may include screenshots, links to videos, and/or emails. The exceptions: once you complete your kick-off call or submit videos for me to review (if applicable), you will be ineligible for a refund.
Q: Why are you capping registration on a digital course?
A: There’s a limit of 200 people for the Community level to ensure quality over quantity, so that we’re not expanding this too quickly, and that everyone can get some attention. There is a limit for the Premium level because, well, I’m only one person, and I just don’t have the time to review videos for everyone, and still offer quality feedback. There is no limit on enrollment for the Self-Study membership.
